Community Genetics Coordinator
NJC Scale 24 £22,401 pro rata
Funded by East Lancs CCG, we have the opportunity to recruit a dynamic new member of the team to support our service to local families in the five districts of East Lancashire.
The Community Genetics Coordinator will be responsible for raising awareness of inherited disorders. The post holder will work with families and support them to access appropriate services. Applicants must have an awareness of inherited disorders and experience of working with families. Candidates must be qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and be willing to access training. Bilingual skills are desirable.
This is a 30 hours per week post initially funded until 31 March 2020.
All candidates should understand and be committed to the role of the voluntary sector and be able to work on own initiative in a challenging environment. This is an essential car user post.
